Happy Birthday to Shigeru Miyamoto

The greatest video-game designer of all time was born today in 1952. Bow your heads and take notice.

You honestly have to ask yourself where would gaming be without him. I am so glad he's here though :D

Happy birthday, Miyamoto. We don't care that you stole your hair from the Beatles.

I find it hilarious the one accusing people of being weeaboos for recognizing one of the most influential game designers of all time has the name "shadowhikari" ;)

Or I could just be using an account of an acquaintance I know. (I don't even know what it means...wikipedia says some fish product or song?)

But hey at least I never wrote on my blog about western reviewers conspiring against Japanese gaming.

That would embarrass me.

"Skyrim is better than Skyward Sword and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 sold truckloads, western gaming prevails! Suck it Weeaboo!"

You know, that's about like comparing pumpkins to oranges. Sure they have superficial similarities, but both have elements in their differences that make each enjoyable for different reasons. Meanwhile hamburger sells more than either.

That aside, using the term "weeaboo" outside it's original Perry Bible Fellowship reference or /b/ is just intentionally branding oneself a troll. Outside that, the only semi-valid argument for Bob being one is rule 59, which died at the hands of rule 17 years ago.

OK, I'm done feeding shadowhikari, or whoever it is using that account.
